Westford Firefigthers Pipes and Drums is a fire service pipe band made up of Public Safety personnel and civilians who support the mission of the band.

After some hard work and planning we are very excited to bring you some HUGE news!!!

For the first time ever we are having this years annual fundraiser at a great new location, The Courtyard Marriot in Nashua NH. We are also pleased to announce that The Greenfields will be performing along with the Flying Irish Step Dancers. There will be great food,  raffles, live music, and drinks. New Members

We would like to welcome the following new members to our group.

In the piping corp we welcome Jason Kennedy.  Jason has a couple of years experience on the pipes and has already taken part with us during the Stoneham Centennial celebration.  We also welcome beginner piper Meredith Antonelli.  Meredith comes to us with great enthusiasm to learn the Highland Bagpipes and will be spending her time on the practice chanter.

Busy start to October

October began on a soggy note as we took part in the misty morning celebrating the centennial of the Stoneham Fire Dept.  Along with members of the Greater Boston Pipes & Drums we proudly if not slightly wet marched down Main Street in Stoneham to the Fire Dept headquarters.  A shout out to our newest side drummer Ralph Morrison as he as he successfully handled the side drummer duties solo.  A job well done also to the Stoneham FD for putting together a great program including the mobile 9/11 museum which made its Massachusetts debut that day.  Pipe Major Rick Tustin, Drum Sgt Bill Stone, Pipers Jonathan Kinney and Jason Kennedy and side drummer Ralph Morrison took part in this event

2016 NH Highland Games recap

Highland games 2016 Loon Mountain started off with cool temperatures and low lying fog which would quickly disperse as the sun would rise creating a comfortable 80 degrees.  Open ceremonies as usual was the hike up the hill to wave 4 but the Westford FF Pipes and Drums would proudly perform with Ralph on side making his debut.  PM Tustin, PS Parsons and Pipers Kinney & Brown rounding out our section.  This year’s opening was improved making it more enjoyable as the political speeches were done before our arrival.  This meant less time standing around on the tarmac baking in the sun.  In typical fashion Mass bands would do the countermarch to Scotland the Brave then ending with Amazing grace.  Mass bands then would be dismissed and we once again marched off with great precision.
