Season round up
Congratualtions to our Instructor Kirk Brunson on his first place overall finish for Grade 1 at the NH Hignland Games. Congratualtions to Pipe Sgt Rick Tustin for taking part in two games this season as a Grade 4 Sr competitor, and to our Drum Major Eric Parsons who looked great in the Drum Major competition. The band continues to improve it’s performance in the competition field as was shown in our remarks. Although we may not have finished in the top 3 we gave it our best and look forward to an even better season next year.
NH Highland Games September 20-22
The NH Highland games are just a week away. Join us in Loon as we take part in the Massed Bands opening and closing ceremony on Saturday. Opening ceremonies kick off at noon. We also will be competing in the Grade 5 band competition on Saturday. Members of the band will also be competing in solo events. Look for our Drum Major Eric Parsons to be competing in the Drum Major event on Saturday at 9am. Good luck Eric. Competing on Sunday in the Grade 4 senior piping event will be our Pipe Sargeant Rick Tustin, good luck Rick. We also need to say good luck to our instructors Kirk Brunson and Cambell Webster as they both will be competing in the Grade 1 piping events on Saturday as well as competing with their own bands. You can also catch Cambell in the Drum Major event.
Good Luck Competitors
Good luck to our Piping Instructor Kirk Brunson as he competes in the World Championships in Scotland August 17 and 18th. This event will be live streamed if you wish to tune in.
Good luck also to Pipe Sgt Rick Tustin as he competes solo for the first time at the Maine games August 17th.
