GREAT WEEKEND AT NH HIGHLAND GAMES
Well the competition season has come to a close with the NH Highland Games at Loon Mountain this past weekend. The band put on a great performance with its new set and although we may not have placed it was a stellar effort by all. A great weekend never the less starting with a great band dinner on Friday night at the Common Man in Ashland NH. A very fun evening with some impromptu entertainment by our own Pipe Sgt Parsons, who by the way made an excellent lunch for the band on Saturday.

MARINE CORP CHANGE OF COMMAND HIGHLIGHTS JUNE JULY EVENTS
The Westford Firefighters Pipes & Drums had the honor of participating in the 25th Marine Corp Change of Command ceremony on July 18th. This was a very impressive ceremony steeped in Marine Corp and military tradition. We performed three times during the ceremony, at the very beginning for the pre-parade serenade, a sound off where we marched before the troops and we closed out the ceremony with the playing of the Marine Corp Hymn.
