Westford Ff Pipes & Drums are honored once again to be the guest band at the Scots Highland Pipes & Drums Annual Robert Burns Dinner.
This is our fourth appearance with the Scots and it is a very fun evening not to be missed.
Well it has been quite a year for the band. In some manner or another members of the band took part in 27 various events over the past year capping off with our participation on Sunday December 13th at the Townsend MA Fire Dept’s new station ceremony. We were proud to take part in this event.
Other highlights this past Fall has been marching with the Greater Boston Pipes & Drums in the annual Maynard Christmas Parade on Dec 6th. Pipe Major Rick Tustin took part in Veteran’s Day ceremonies in Winchester while Pipe Sgt Don Parsons handled the Westford ceremony. We thank the Winchester Veteran’s Post 3719 for their generous donation to the band this past year. We were also honored to lead in MA Fire Academy class 236 as they graduated from the academy on November 20th.
