Westford & District Pipes and Drums is a fire service pipe band made up of Public Safety personnel and civilians who support the mission of the band.

We would like to wish our instructors good luck with the respective bands as they compete in the World Pipe Band Championships is Glasgow Scotland on Friday August 14and Saturday August 15.  Our piping instructor Kirk Brunson will be competing with Grade 1 Dowco Triumph Street and our drumming instructor Andrew Adams will be competing with Grade 3A Scotia Glenville.  The event will be streaming live via the BBC Scotland on Saturday starting at 9am Scotland time.

Closer to home we extend good luck to our Pipe Major Rick Tustin who will be competing in the Maine Highland games on Saturday August 15.

Next month the band will be playing at the annual NH 9/11 Stair Climb on September 13th in Manchester NH.

We cap off the competition season with the band taking part in the NH Highland Games on September 19th.  We will be in the Grade 5 band competition as well as taking part in the opening and closing ceremonies on Saturday.  Individual members will also be competing on Sunday.

Stay tuned for more NH Highland Games info in the coming weeks.
