June has been a busy month for the band.

DFS dedication

The band palyed at the Department of Fire Services dedication along with members of the Greater Boston Firefighters Pipes and Drums.  Depsite a rainy day the event was a success.

Fitchburg Fire Department Memorial Sunday

On Sunday June 12th the band led the procession of Fitchburg Fire Department as they marched from Fitchburg Headquarters to the Firefighters Memorial.

Flag Day
June 14th 4 members of the band assisted American Legion Post 437 in their flag retirement ceremony.

Westford Firefighters Pipes and Drums had the honor of playing Sgt William Woitowicz USMC to his final rest  We would also like to thank Greater Boston Pipes and Drums for assisting us in this honor. William’s father Kevin said “Thank all the members for me the music was superb and it eased our pain”
