It was a busy day for the band on the 15th Anniversary of the events of 9/11. Kicking the morning off the band split to take part in the annual NH Memorial Stair Climb in Manchester and also take part in Burlington MA morning ceremony. Our Manchester crew just missed the torrential shower however our Burlington crew was not as lucky. Never the less they persevered. Following those two events the entire band regrouped in Reading to take part in their parade and ceremony. The band proudly marched with members of the Irish American Police Officers Association. We will never forget those who gave their all that day.
We would also like to say a heartfelt thanks to our friends from the Scots Highlanders who joined us for all three events. It is always a pleasure to perform with the Scots.
Next up the band will be taking part in the opening ceremonies at the NH Highland games on September 17th. If you are at the games stop by and say hello.
