Despite the heat we successfully took part in two Fourth of July parades.
The first was the Pepperell 4th of July parade held on July 2nd. We were the first musical unit out of the gate which was a welcome relief. The crowds were great and we played for the entire 2 mile route with just brief pauses between sets. A job well down by all.
July 4th saw us in Raymond NH for their parade. Another hot day but thankfully this was a morning parade with a nice flat relatively short route. Highlighting this parade was a great performance in front of the bandstand to another great cheering crowd. Following this parade band members enjoyed a great cookout at PM Tustin’s adobe.
Stay tuned for pictures of these parades and other July events.
