Our august premier event is the 54th annual Newburyport Yankee Homecoming parade on August 7th. The parade steps off at 1230pm. The band has been chosen to be the lead marching band for this parade. The Yankeer Homecoming is a week long event that began on July 31st and ends on August 7th.

The band had a very successful July marching in three parades, July 2nd in Ayer MA, July 4th in Raymond NH and again in Raymond on July 8th for the Raymond Firemen’s Parade. A great cookout was enjoyed by all following the 4th of July parade at Piper Tustin’s house.
Congratulations Piper Keogh and Class 191 MFA
Congratulations to Piper John Keogh and the rest of Class 191 on their graduation from the Massachusetts Fire Academy. The band had the honor of escorting the recruits into the graduation ceremony and leading them out at the conclusion.
June has been a busy month for the band.
DFS dedication
The band palyed at the Department of Fire Services dedication along with members of the Greater Boston Firefighters Pipes and Drums. Depsite a rainy day the event was a success.
